About AVE
A Very Emo Productions LLC was founded in 2022 by emo rock band Love Again from San Antonio, TX. Alex Cortez, Guillermo De La Rosa, and Joseph Rodriguez have been working nonstop on building a brand that stands for both community and culture. Our mission has always been to give back to our community and to provide a safe space for the alternative music scene that we grew up with in San Antonio. In a short time this event has grown from being housed at the beloved local venue The Starlighter to Burleson Yard Beer Garden’s very own backyard!
We are thrilled to partner with the Avenida Guadalupe Association to bring the third annual A Very Emo Valentines Music Fest to Plaza Guadalupe on February 1, 2025. Knowing the history of the Avenida Guadalupe Plaza and neighborhood, we are proud to bring the culture and community of San Antonio to a historical land site.
